The Real Estate Market in a minute

Tri-County shows that Closed Homes are  DOWN 1%  over last year to  13,533 YTD  and  UP 3%  over 2016.  This also indicates that the Median Sales Price is  UP 7%  over last year to $270,780  and the Average Sales Price is  UP 7%  to  $367,559 .  Want info on specific neighborhoods or how this affects you?  Im happy to give you personalized info!

May Market Stats

May 2018 Home Sales Stats

The sales pace slowed down a tad in May but that's primarily due to lack of inventory (few homes for sale) for the entry level home buyer.  

Overall, we are looking at a median sales price of 273,000 for the Charleston Tricounty area (Berkeley, Charleston & Dorchester Counties), that's up over 13K since May of 2017!


Berkeley County:

445 homes sold at a median price of $198,110 

Median home price has increased by 4%, to $239,515

There are 1,065 residential properties for sale in Berkeley County


Charleston County

941 homes sold at a median price of $300,000 

Median home price has increased by about 5% so far this year, to $375,000. 

There are 2,950 residential properties for sale in Charleston County


Dorchester County

319 homes sold at a median price of $198,725 in Dorchester County 

Median home price has increased by about 5% so far this year, to $233,685. 

There are currently 723 residential properties for sale in Dorchester County
